Merzouga is around 560 km from Marrakech, which means 9 to 10 hours at the wheel. That is why our tours split the journey over two days, crossing the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping at Ait Ben Haddou and spending a night in the Dades Valley.

Each tour includes private transport in an air-conditioned 4×4 or minivan with fuel, pick-up and drop-off at your hotel or riad, an English-speaking private driver/guide, nights in carefully chosen hotels or riads, one night in a luxury desert camp in Merzouga, a camel ride (or a 4×4 transfer), and dinners and breakfasts. Lunches and drinks are not included.

Yes, every tour is private: just your group, your own driver/guide and the date you choose. Our itineraries are only suggestions, and we gladly adjust the route and the number of days to fit your plans.

Your tour is confirmed with a small deposit by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer. The balance is paid in cash to your driver on the day of pick-up, in euros or the same amount in dollars or dirhams.

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 15 days before departure: if you cancel at least 15 days before the tour starts, you receive a full refund.

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) offer the most pleasant conditions, with warm days and mild nights. Summer is very hot in the desert, and winter nights at the camp can be chilly, so bring warm clothes.
