Merzouga, with the Erg Chebbi dunes, has the highest and most famous dunes. Zagora is closer to Marrakech and perfect for a short trip. Erg Chigaga is the most remote and untouched, reached by 4×4 from M’Hamid.

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) have the most pleasant temperatures. Winter is sunny but nights in the desert are cold, and summer days are very hot, so we plan activities around the season.
